Uruguayan Beef Ribs — Short Ribs & Back Ribs — Specifications

Frigorífico Pando's beef ribs — including short plate ribs (IMPS 123/130), flanken-style short ribs, and back ribs — are sourced from grass-fed Hereford and Angus cattle and processed under our USDA Establishment 439 certified facility. The natural marbling from Uruguay's pampas-raised cattle produces a rib with superior flavour depth compared to grain-finished alternatives.

Our beef ribs are available in multiple cutting styles: flanken-cut cross ribs (popular in Korean galbi markets), English-cut bone-in short ribs (ideal for US BBQ and braising), back ribs (for retail and foodservice), and flat iron / chuck short ribs. All are vacuum-packed in master carton and available chilled or blast-frozen.
