Premium Uruguayan Beef Fat & Tallow — Specifications

Frigorífico Pando produces and exports food-grade Uruguayan beef fat — both raw subcutaneous and internal fat, and rendered beef tallow — as a high-value by-product of our primary beef processing programme. Uruguay's grass-fed cattle produce a fat with a distinctive clean flavour and high oleic acid content, valued by the food industry.

Raw beef fat is available frozen in carton for food manufacturers, rendered tallow (premier jus) available in drums (180 kg) or flexitanks for bulk buyers. Applications include cooking fat for foodservice and food manufacturing, shortening and pastry production, pet food, and oleochemical/soap manufacturing.

All beef fat is processed under HACCP control. EU-approved documentation available for European buyers. Halal-certified fat for Middle Eastern food manufacturers. Consistent supply available year-round from our 400,000 head annual processing volume.
